KINNIE MULLED WINE
Mulled wine is the go-to festive drink to keep warm and toasty while also impressing your guests. Spice up the usual recipe by adding a little zest.
Some Whole cloves
3 long or 6 short cinnamon sticks
150g granulated sugar
6 bay leaves
1 tsp ground aniseed
1 tsp ground nutmeg
250ml of orange juice
1l of Kinnie
3 bottles of red wine
- Mix all the dry ingredients, orange juice, one bottle of wine and Kinnie.
- Boil and then simmer for 15 min.
- Add 2 more bottles of wine, and bring it to boil.
- Serve warm with cinnamon and orange slices.
